Between 24-27 October 2016 ANACIP representatives: Carolina Timco, secretary general ANACIP, Stela Guvir, head of Department of Vocational Education and Training and Olesea Ghedrovici, senior specialist, participated in several activities within the "Capacity Building of ANACIP experts" project funded by the Estonian Government.

On the first day of the visit, representatives of ANACIP got acquainted with the activities of the Estonian Quality Assurance Agency - EKKA (Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education), as well as the methodology for training of evaluation experts who conduct the external quality assessment process. The secretary general of ANACIP, Ms. Carolina Timco, did a presentation on the activities of ANACIP and the quality assurance system in Moldova. The experts discussed about specifics of external assessment methodologies in Moldova and Estonia, procedures for selection of experts, training methods and other aspects of assessment.

The next two days were dedicated to a practical exercise. ANACIP representatives participated as observers in the process of external quality assessment of study programs offered by the Aviation Academy in the city of Tartu. They pursued the preparation process of visit's program, training of evaluators by EKKA, work of assessors on the day before assessment, as well attended the talks of assessors with the education institution's administration, employees and its students and also they visited the campus academy along  with assessors' team, composed of experts from France, Finland, Germany and Estonia.

On the last day of the visit it was discussed and developed the training program for experts-evaluators from Moldova within the "Capacity Building of ANACIP experts" project to be held in Chisinau on November 14-16. It should be noted that during the visit to Estonia there were discussed opportunities for further collaboration of the two agencies and established the principles of a partnership agreement between ANACIP and EKKA, to be signed in November.
