Between July 28 and 31, 2020, ANACEC conducted 4 webinars that were attended by 83 representatives of local specialized bodies in the field of education and 242 managerial staff of the institutions for which the external evaluation is planned in the school year 2020 - 2021.

The purpose of the 4 activities hosted online is to inform and train representatives of local specialized bodies in the field of education and school managers on the evaluation / self-evaluation procedure of general education institutions and managerial staff in accordance with the methodologies approved by MECR.

The activities were moderated by: Lucia Argint-Căldare – head of the DEGE, Tamara Tonu – head of the SEÎPG and Sergiu Orehovschi – head of the SEÎL.

The participants were acquainted with the normative framework in the field of quality assurance and with the external evaluation procedure, with the requirements for completing the Evaluation Dossier, the Activity Report of the educational institution and the Annual Activity Report of the managerial staff.

The representatives of local specialized bodies in the field of education were informed about the conditions for participation in the external evaluation process in general education and the possibility of their involvement as a member of the External Evaluation Commission.

During the activity, aspects specific to the activity of local specialized bodies in the field of education were elucidated, such as:

  • specifying the attributions within the annual / internal evaluation;

  • attributions in relation to the evaluation carried out by ANACEC;

  • synthesis of the results of the annual evaluations;

  • planning of evaluation activities;

  • presentation of the Perspective Plan for 5 years;

  • monitoring the implementation of the Improvement Plan.

ANACEC, as a full member of the Standing International Conference of Inspectorates (#SICI), advocates for the achievement of common quality standards and the promotion of European values in the field of education.:

  • capitalizing on the results of external evaluations in order to increase the quality of educational services provided by general education institutions;

  • transforming external evaluations into professional development opportunities to support improving the quality of the educational process;

  • applying the results of the external evaluation to support the improvement of the quality in the field of institutional management.

The online training activities ended with questions asked by the participants, addressed to the ANACEC representatives, which result, among others, in the repeated proposal to unify the certification process with the evaluation process of the managerial staff, in order to avoid double evaluation.
